2025 Minnesota Welsh Hymn Festival - A Jubilee Celebration
The Minnesota Welsh Association celebrated 90 years of Welsh Hymn Singing in Southern Minnesota at the Jubilee Hymn Festival in September 2025. Under the direction of Dr. Mari Morgan, the crowd lifted the rafters with strains of Rachie, Arglwydd Dyma Fi, Blodwen, Mawlgan, Calon Lan and Cwm Rhondda.
Attendees also enjoyed music from members of the North American Welsh Choir, an ensemble from the First Presbyterian Church Choir and Gustavus Adolphus College, and Minnesota soloist, Donald Barbee.
Following the singing, conversation and laughter filled the dining room as attendees savored Welsh tea cakes and Welsh tea.
